Rest in peace Brian Griffin. 
I can't believe Seth McFarlane killed off his and my favorite character. The Character Brian Griffin was an extension and reflection of McFarlane's own real personality. Now Family Guy won't be the same without the loveable, insufferable, snobbish attitude of Brian. Seth replaced Brian with a Italian persona-type dog named Vinny. At first I thought Vinny was going to be an absolute pain to the Griffin family, but near the end of yesterday's episode he had a cool moment with Stewie. I was like, hey this new dog character isn't all that bad. Let's just see what Seth has in store for the Griffins and their new family member Vinny. There are also rumors that Brian's death is not permanent. He might come back in future episodes, but I kinda doubt it. Even though some of the future episodes has his name in it, I think Brian is just going to make a memory cameo of some sort. I don't know, either McFarlane is just done with the character Brian or maybe he has something up his sleeve. Hmmm....
